Stacey Chernin M.A., Psy. D., LMFT, CFT, is a specialized marriage, couples and family therapist and maintains a busy private practice, Counseling Services Direct, in Long Island, New York. A Master of Arts degree in psychology from The New School for Social Research (MA). Presently, Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.). In addition, a Certified Family Therapis (CFT) and a Human Services Board Certified Practitioner (HS-BCP).

A clinical member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), a Member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and a Member National Association For The Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP). My Professional experience includes practice at Jamaica Hospital-The Advanced Center for Psychotherapy, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York Hospital, Columbia New York Presbyterian Hospital-Mood Disorders , and Behavioral Medicine.
